What do Cubs do?

Cub Scouts get to experience a great mix of adventure, skill-building, and fun. Whether meeting indoors on a rainy day or heading outside to connect with nature, there's always something new to learn.

🏕️ Outdoor Adventures

Cubs Camping and Campfires

Nature & Exploration

Creating scavenger hunts in the park, enjoying "star saunters" during night hikes, and practicing map reading through basic orienteering.

Physical & Wide Games

Playing team-based wide games in large spaces, classic games like "Steal the Bacon," burlap sack races, and nature-themed relay races.

Adventurous Activities

Learning how to pitch a tent, safe campfire cooking like making s'mores, bike rodeos for cycling safety, and sometimes even water activities!

🎨 Indoor Fun

Cubs Learning Knots Indoors

Skill Stations

Rotation-based stations where Cubs learn practical skills like basic first aid, map reading, and tying knots such as square knots and clove hitches.

Crafts & Badge Work

Building bug hotels, weaving paracord woggles, making friendship bracelets, and working towards badges like Digital Citizen or Personal Safety.

Active Indoor Games

"Minute to Win It" challenges, Kim's Game (a memory test with objects), balloon obstacle courses, and fast-paced team relays.
